Roisin's gallbladder removal can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled gallbladder removal in August is out of reach without help covering $6,550 of the cost.

Roisin was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in July. The surgeon at Kilkenny Orthopedic Institute recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $13,000, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $6,550 short.
my wife has been in and out of Kilkenny Orthopedic Institute since July. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $13,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Roisin struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Roisin won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
