Fighting early-stage lung cancer: help Yolanda afford treatment in Ciudad de México

Yolanda was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in July. The oncology team at the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Yolanda is 46, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,100
• Scans and lab work: $220
• Transport to the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute: $240
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $120
• Household costs while unable to work: $320
