Fighting cervical cancer: help Maria afford treatment in Malmö
Maria is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Maria was diagnosed with cervical cancer in March. The oncology team at Malmö University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Maria is 39, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Malmö University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $6,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,100
• Scans and lab work: $830
• Transport to Malmö University Hospital: $610
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $420
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,340
