Back to business - Mirjam's comeback in Amsterdam
Mirjam lost a cutting table and overlocker to a break-in and needs $4,000 to reopen a sewing studio and support the family.

For nine years I have run a sewing studio in Amsterdam. In September, a break-in took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,000 goes:
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $2,550
• Initial stock: fabric: $630
• Shop repairs and licensing: $560
• Working capital for the first month: $260
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Mirjam.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. replacing a cutting table and overlocker comes first ($2,550) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
Praying for you. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
