Could you share an hour a week with Jun?
Looking for a friendly person in Manila to visit Jun once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Jun, who's 74. Jun lives alone in Manila, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Jun loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope you get there. Greetings from Nottingham
Rooting for you, Victor. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Shared this with my family. After 23 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
