Fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia: help Malee afford treatment in Chiang Mai
4 rounds of treatment are planned at Chiang Mai Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Malee was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June. The oncology team at Chiang Mai Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Malee is 57, worked as a shop owner until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Chiang Mai Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $165
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,200
• Household costs while unable to work: $500
• Transport to Chiang Mai Regional Medical Center: $185
