The old Lotus bus depot needs a playground - Nirali's neighborhood project
A community-led a playground at the old Lotus bus depot that will serve 567 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Lotus bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 567 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Materials: $330
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Wishing you peace, Nirali. Great idea, hope you get there. Sent it to 13 people at work.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Jaipur.
Keep going. Looking forward to the next update. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Pasig
Sending strength. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Jaipur
