Feed 64 families each week at the Thursday Table in Gatineau
The the Thursday Table pantry in Gatineau is running low just as demand rises; $2,700 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Thursday from the back of a community center. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 64 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 47% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Gatineau market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $740
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $920
• Baby formula and diapers: $680
• Refrigeration and electricity: $360
Thanks for being kind about this.
