The the Harvest Pantry pantry in Ikeja is running low just as demand rises; $400 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Sunday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 327 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 31% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Ikeja market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $160
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $135
• Baby formula and diapers: $60
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
