Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Jakarta.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Wednesday from the back of a community center. We started with 25 families, and now we feed 210 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 51% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Jakarta market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $550 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $90
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $290
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $170
I hope life is good to you.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Wahyu?
Take care, Wahyu. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Radom.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Wahyu.
Baby formula and diapers is $90 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page.
Keep going, Wahyu. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Buffalo donated after I showed her your page.
Sending love, Wahyu. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
