After the loss of my brother, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 6 months, and private sessions at Utrecht Wellbeing Centre cost $85 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Merel!
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. 20 therapy sessions comes first ($1,350) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
