Faruk's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Faruk won a place at Coimbatore International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇮🇳 Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India775 views
Faruk earned a place in Grade 9 at Coimbatore International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $110, which is more than they have.
Faruk loves coding and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $110 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Laptop: $80
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Thank you for reading my story.

Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Lethbridge
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Coimbatore
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
this could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Thane so I could bring a meal!
