Feed 198 families each week at the Sunday Shelf in Ciudad de México
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Ciudad de México is running low just as demand rises; $750 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Monday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 23 families, and now we feed 198 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 51% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Ciudad de México market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $750 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $410
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $125
• Baby formula and diapers: $190
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25
Thanks for being kind about this.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Colombo donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
