Rocío needs a lift to the Houston Dialysis Unit - can you help one day a week?
A rota of drivers to the Houston Dialysis Unit would keep Rocío on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Rocío has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Houston Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Rocío can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 8 km each way.
Rocío is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Yonkers donated after I showed her your page
Thanks for sharing this, Ricardo. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
