Ties, my husband, passed away on 18 September after a road accident. He was 30 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ties to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $3,450 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,600 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,400 • Transport of the deceased: $185 • Memorial gathering for the family: $265 Every share and every dollar helps. - Martijn
