Farewell fund for Nimra: help Haris's family in Islamabad
Haris lost his grandmother suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $600.

Nimra, my grandmother, passed away on 22 August after complications from pneumonia. She was 82 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 7 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Nimra to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $600 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $410
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $85
• Transport of the deceased: $55
• Memorial gathering for the family: $50

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Haris
Sure. The biggest one is funeral home services and casket, $410. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
