Back-to-school fund for Njoroge
Njoroge won a place at Nakuru Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Nakuru Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $100 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $20
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $50
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
