Mónica, my grandmother, passed away on 18 September after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 88 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Mónica to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
