Kayla, my grandmother, passed away on 6 January after a sudden heart attack. She was 83 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 21 January. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Kayla to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $1,250 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $840 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $300 • Memorial gathering for the family: $110 Glad we found this place.
