Anh, my uncle, passed away on 25 December after a stroke. He was 87 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 December.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Anh to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $450 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $280
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $115
• Transport of the deceased: $40
• Memorial gathering for the family: $15
