Weekly meals for families and seniors in Zaporizhzhia
Maria runs a volunteer pantry feeding 344 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Saturday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 11 families, and now we feed 344 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 38% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Zaporizhzhia market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $850 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $430
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $250
• Baby formula and diapers: $95
• Refrigeration and electricity: $75
Thank you so much.

Good luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Multan.
