Emergency vet bill for Tucker in Mbarara
Please help Kipchoge pay for Tucker's emergency treatment at Mbarara Veterinary Centre.
🇺🇬 Mbarara, Western Region, Uganda467 views
Tucker is my three-legged dog of six years. On 12 June we rushed to Mbarara Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Tucker, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Tucker is more than a pet - Tucker is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Mbarara Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Tucker's recovery.
Where the $350 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $220
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $50
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $50
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Mbarara.
Thank you. If you're in Mbarara I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Sending good thoughts, Kipchoge. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
Wishing you peace, Kipchoge. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
