My wife Da-eun has been accepted for treatment at the Sacramento Cancer Centre in Sacramento, starting on Thursday in May. We live 449 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Da-eun and me. We can contribute $175 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Da-eun will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours. God bless!

    • Take care, Min-ji. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 20 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.

Sending good thoughts, Min-ji. Get well soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
