Let's build a skate park together in Lecce
Volunteers in Lecce are raising $1,550 for a skate park at the old Sycamore bus depot.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,550.
It will serve about 531 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Materials: $730
• Permits and inspections: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $310
• Tools hire and delivery: $260
