Faith's thyroid cancer treatment fund
Faith is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Faith was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in December. The oncology team at Albany Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Faith is 25, worked as a primary school teacher until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Albany Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,700
• Transport to Albany Cancer Centre: $800
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $650
