Gwagwalada
I'm a single mother of three living in Gwagwalada. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $810, which isn't something I can pay. The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over two Saturdays. Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks. The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Praying for you. This could happen to any of us. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.

You're not alone. Shared this with my family. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.

      • You're not alone, Ikenna. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
