Let's build a playground together in Warri
Volunteers in Warri are raising $400 for a playground at Baobab Primary School.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 345 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $400 goes:
• Materials: $300
• Safety equipment and signage: $70
• Permits and inspections: $30
