Faisal wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Faisal, 79, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $3,000 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 79. After a fall and hip fracture Faisal can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Faisal desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Faisal worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $360
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $165
• Part-time carer (eight months): $2,475
