Emergency vet bill for Willow in Montréal
Willow, Dennis's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $1,900.

Willow is my German shepherd of six years. On 7 May we rushed to Montréal Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,900.
They have stabilized Willow, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Willow is more than a pet - Willow is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $190 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Montréal Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Willow's recovery.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,100
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $310
• Medication and follow-up visits: $230
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $260
Thank you for reading my story.
- Dennis

take care, Dennis. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Abuja
