Emergency vet bill for Pepper in Campinas
Pepper, Francisca's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $550.

Pepper is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 31 July we rushed to Campinas Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $100 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Campinas Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $550 goes:
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $115
• Emergency surgery: $360
• Medication and follow-up visits: $75
Thanks for being kind about this.

Best of luck, Francisca. Hope you get there. Love from Buenos Aires.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Francisca?
Thank you. If you're in Campinas I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
thinking of you and your family. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
