Isaac needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen

A stair-climbing aid would give Isaac independence - we're $650 away.

Tema
Isaac lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Tema Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $650. His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Isaac could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $650 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $570 • Fitting and training sessions: $25 • Delivery and set-up: $35 • First-year servicing plan: $20 With deep gratitude, Afia

Updates from Afia

  1. Small update. $108 so far, the plan for stair-climbing aid is now scheduled.

  2. Quick update: $58 raised so far (9%). we've started the first stage. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
