A sensory garden for children with autism for the Cedar health centre yard: help our neighbors in São Paulo
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $1,250 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $430, and the remaining cost is $1,250.
It will serve about 284 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Materials: $940
• Permits and inspections: $105
• Safety equipment and signage: $145
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
