Emergency vet bill for Buddy in Shreveport

Buddy is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 21 May we rushed to the Shreveport Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,450. They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $310 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Shreveport Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
