Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Musa pay $100
Musa is behind on electricity and water bills after March's medical emergency and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $100. I have never been late before March's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $100 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $45
• Reconnection and late fees: $10
• Down payment on a payment plan: $45
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

wishing you the best. Your post was clear and honest. Don't give up. All the best
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Musa.
Electricity arrears is $45 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for asking.
hope things get better soon. I hope things turn around soon. Take care
best of luck, Musa. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
