Volunteers wanted: Henrique's yard after the storm
Henrique, 83, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 83 and I have lived in this house in Juiz de Fora for 49 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

Praying for you, Henrique. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Take care, Henrique. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Put this on a community board in Kraków this morning. God bless.
