Emergency vet bill for Archie in Veracruz
A rabbit named Archie needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $700 bill the family can't cover.
🇲🇽 Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico327 views
Archie is my rabbit of three years. On 18 December we rushed to the Veracruz Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $700.
They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Archie is more than a pet - Archie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $110 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Veracruz Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Archie's recovery.
Where the $700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $450
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $115
• Medication and follow-up visits: $100
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
Updates from Santiago
Small update. $125 so far, the plan for diagnostics is now scheduled.

Best of luck, Santiago. Give Archie a hug from me. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
