Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Jahid pay $500
Jahid is behind on electricity and water bills after losing my job in March and needs $500 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless I pay $500. I have never been late before losing my job in March.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $145 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
