Looking for a teaching mentor: Landon's career change at 53
A mentor in teaching could help Landon with a portfolio, interviews and first-job strategy.

I have worked as a taxi driver for 6 years, and I'm 53. After the factory closing, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed an online certificate.
What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my capstone project, a realistic view of the job market in California, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming.
I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for three months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time.
All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
