Edward's final semester of an agriculture degree in Accra

Edward is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Accra Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300. The registrar has said Edward can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Edward has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Edward would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Edward isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Accra Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $300 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $50 • Textbooks and materials: $50 • Final term tuition: $200 Thanks for being kind about this.
