Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Faruk.

I'm facing a visa refusal appeal, with a hearing on August. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified employment lawyer licensed in Dhaka who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Dhaka or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Faruk. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Wishing you peace, Faruk. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Dhaka.
thinking of you, Faruk. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Angeles.
Hang in there, Faruk. I hope things turn around soon. After 15 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything
