Does anyone know a family-law attorney willing to help for free? Lin, Montréal
Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Lin.

I'm facing a debt-collection lawsuit I believe is invalid, with a hearing on May. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified family-law attorney licensed in Quebec who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Montréal or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending good thoughts, Lin. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Gazipur.
