Denis's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Denis earned a place in Grade 9 at Kyiv International School; we're $205 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Kyiv International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $205, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $205 goes:
• Laptop: $130
• School uniform and shoes: $45
• Textbooks and workbooks: $25
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
If you're reading this, thank you.

How is Denis doing now?
Rooting for you, Denis. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Put this on a community board in Los Angeles this morning. Thinking of Kyiv.
Thanks for sharing this, Denis. Hope you get there. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Thinking of you, Denis. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
Keep going, Denis. Shared this with my family. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Kyiv
