Companionship wanted: William's cricket and a cup of tea
Looking for a friendly person in Los Angeles to visit William once a week.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States488 views
I'm writing for my neighbor William, who's 78. William lives alone in Los Angeles, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
William loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Thanks for being kind about this.
