A ramp for Ellie: volunteers and tools needed
Ellie uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Ellie has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Ellie can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Ellie's family will cook lunch for the team.
I hope life is good to you.

thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
Rooting for you, Parker. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Best of luck, Parker. Get well soon. We're a small family in Monterrey but we're thinking of you.
