Companionship wanted: Min-ji's local history and a cup of tea
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Min-ji is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Min-ji, who's 77. Min-ji lives alone in Montgomery, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Min-ji loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
