Companionship wanted: Galina's opera and a cup of tea
Looking for a friendly person in Yekaterinburg to visit Galina once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Galina, who's 79. Galina lives alone in Yekaterinburg, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Galina loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I hope life is good to you.

thinking of you. Hope the doctors have good news. Love from Austin
you're not alone. Wishing Galina a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Sending good thoughts, Nina. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours. Take care.
Wishing you the best, Nina. Hope this works out for you. Don't give up. Blessings.
Hang in there, Nina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. God bless
