Companionship wanted: Andile's crossword puzzles and a cup of tea
Looking for a friendly person in Durban to visit Andile once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Andile, who's 84. Andile lives alone in Durban, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 767 kilometers away.
Andile loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
