Companionship wanted: Alexandra's crossword puzzles and a cup of tea

I'm writing for my neighbor Alexandra, who's 84. Alexandra lives alone in Rockford, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country. Alexandra loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting.
