Help Luca save Juno - surgery needed
Juno, Luca's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $2,600.

Juno is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 27 June we rushed to Birmingham Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,600.
They have stabilized Juno, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Juno is more than a pet - Juno is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $250 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Birmingham Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Juno's recovery.

• Emergency surgery: $1,650
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $600
• Medication and follow-up visits: $175
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $175
