Mukasa is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Mombasa Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Mukasa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Mukasa has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Mukasa would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Mukasa isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Mombasa Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $450 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $200 • Final term tuition: $190 • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Textbooks and materials: $45 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Margaret
